Intellectual Property (IP) Rights in your work

You are responsible for the protection of your work. This is particularly important if you are presenting your work to anyone outside of the College. Members of staff and registered students at the RCA are bound by confidentiality clauses, so you can show your work to them without jeopardising your chances of protecting it at a later date.

The following pages will give you a general overview of the ways to protect your work, and the ownership of it.

The RCA, its employees, agents and subcontractors will not be responsible or liable to users of the information or any other person for errors or omissions, or for any losses, costs or claims arising from relying on the information or advice provided on this website. See the links for details of how to protect you work.

Also, we are not responsible for the content of any external websites which may be linked to this RCA Website.
