Liquid Orange licence signed

Liquid Orange is an innovative kitchen device that adapts keyhole surgery technology in a unique way to enable you to liquidise and eat an orange as a smoothie without peeling it.

It has been licensed by InnovationRCA to Home-tek International Limited, a subsidiary of Yasuda International and manufacturer of the Ainsley Harriott and Light ‘n’ Easy brands of kitchen and domestic appliances.

Liquid Orange was developed by Graeme Davies, an electro-mechanical engineer and 2006 graduate of the Royal College of Art's Industrial Design Engineering programme, as his final solo project looking at ways to make healthy food more appealing. Liquid Orange was chosen as an RCA Selected Work in June 2006.

Home-tek plans to launch Liquid Orange late 2008.
