Selected Works RCA
InnovationRCA's Selected Works programme offers a constantly updated portfolio of patent-protected, cutting-edge RCA product design, ready to license to industry. The Selected Works portfolio is arranged into three product categories:
- Architecture and Environment
- Medical and Health
- Home and Leisure
Each year the College selects a small number of exceptional products designed by RCA students and graduates that have the potential to successfully fill a gap in the marketplace. The socially responsible designs are chosen for their technical innovation, creative flair and commercial potential.
Several Selected Works have been Licensed.
Licensing
We seek commercial partners in all sectors who are looking to strengthen their product range or to move into new markets, through licensing.
Investment
We are also happy to discuss opportunities with companies or individuals interested in investing in start-up companies created around IPR.
Spin-out companies
The Royal College of Art maintains an equity stake in a number of graduate spin-out companies that have originated from a Selected Work. InnovationRCA offers support to these companies and manages the RCA’s interest in these companies. More...
